Yes, I know it must seem funny for a freelance writer to offer recommendations for other writers and their sites but damn, these people are so good that I just have to do it. They are not in any preference order, only there in the sequence that they entered my thoughts.
The Crusty Curmudgeon - Don't let the name fool you. The Crusty Currmudgeon may have a hard outside but he has a soft, lovable center. His posts are intelligently written, interesting and always engaging. Do yourself a huge favour and read a few of his posts, maybe even leave him a comment or two. A good place to start is the Curmudgeon's post about the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile crashing into a home.
HubNuggets Blog - B.T. Evilpants is the world's most lovable jackalope, as well as being a heck of a writer. Every week, B.T. interviews writers who are new to HubPages and have won a little contest that we call HubNuggets. C'mon, check it out. When's the last time that you read anything written by a jackalope?
ProCW - I can't recommend the use of this content writing service enough! Professional Content Writers (ProCW) is a team collaboration of some of the best writing and creative talent that I've ever seen. I find it quite humbling to work with these people. It is the perfect place to get scads (or less) of custom crafted content quickly, regardless of type or topic. Though the site doesn't mention it yet, I happen to know that they can also provide scripts, plays, short films, commercials, podcasts and videos. This is a group of wonderfully brilliant professionals who live and breathe their craft. Please consider using them for your next project that requires this type of talent, you won't be sorry.
Herald Daily
- Herald is a relatively new friend who decided to try his hand at
travel writing. He likes it okay but still challenges himself by
delving into a different topic now and again. His piece on Michael Jackson
is a good example of a quick, other genre subject that he took a crack
at. Mostly though, Herald sticks to his travel and travel related info
hubs.
